Dear friends and family,
Did you know that my mom, Leslie Cox, is a court appointed special advocate? That means she lends her time and expertise to advocate on behalf of some of the most vulnerable children in Cook County.
Those of you who know my mom know she's persistent, brutally honest, and a proud member of the "we never guess we look it up club." It's precisely those traits that make her uniquely qualified to listen to all sides, uncover paper trails, and provide a comprehensive assessment of the situations she is tasked with advising on.
This year, I'll be running the Chicago Marathon to raise money for CASA of Cook County.
