Running has been a huge part of my life for the past few years and led me to my ultimate goal which was running the Chicago Marathon in 2018. This year, not only do I want to run the Chicago Marathon but I want to make a difference in the process. CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - is an organization that designates trained volunteers to be a voice for children in the court system. These children do not have an individual in their lives to make decisions in the child's best interest. Your donation will not only help me reach my fundraising goal but it will help keep children from falling through the cracks of the system and get them placed in permanent homes faster and more effectively.
